Hi Noli, Phillipe and Zora.

We have finished bug fixing for version 0.2, and are messed up with documentation and L10N issues. Its source code is in a private SVN because we were using it for an R&D project, but we are about to move it to the public one, as soon as possible. Within next week we plan to have stablished all the source code on our public SVN, and publish the application on Android Market. From that on, we'll keep on developing on the public SVN. However I'll send you a RAR file with the source code, so that you can have a look at it before.

BTW, great link Noli, I wasn't aware of it :-)

Regards,

Miguel Montesinos

Off topic.

FYI

Dual booting - IPhone and Android.

Yes, Android runs in IPhone first gen hardware for now.

Next would be dual booting - Ipad and Android.

Hi guys,

It would be great if you could send me the source code as well. I admit
not
to be the top coder, but I could help... I have some ideas that are quite
compatible with your work...

Hi Miguel, Noli!

Miguel, thanks for your hint, I just skimmed your class diagram, looks
quite promising.
since my stuff is yet experimental, gvSig seems worth a look for
sharing components.

- Do you have a public SVN repo for getting the source?

Yes, but we are working some months on an internal one that we intend to migrate to the public one and keep on working on it as soon as the new version gets released. In the next days we are going to release a new version (0.2). It's in beta phase for some days and with no bugs so far,
so
it will be quite soon (probably next week).

We can send you the binaries or the source code of this version if you
want
to have a look without waiting for the release.

- Does gvsig support selecting and identifying features and querying
data such as attributes, area, ....?

Not really, it can now search for Points of Interest (POIs) in external services, and query them afterwards, but it would be a good idea to work
together for adding these kind of features.

more questions will follow ;)

They will be wellcome

Regards,

Miguel Montesinos
