To download tracks and points from my GPS I configure my GPS-Device in the
following way:
Waypoint download: %babel -w -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F %out
Waypoint upload: %babel -w -i gpx -f %in -o garmin -F usb:
Route download: %babel -r -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F %out
Route upload: %babel -r -i gpx -f %in -o garmin -F usb:
Track download: %babel -t -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F %out
Track upload: %babel -t -i gpx -f %in -o garmin -F usb:
After that downloading and uploading of data works perfectly.
But then, when I close QGIS and start it again, it does not work any more.
I get the error-message: "The layer is not a valid layer and can not be added
to the map".
Then I can do the whole process again of configuring a new device. Then it
works until I
close QGIS again...
Does anybody experience the same? Any explanation or even better solution?
