To solve it you have to activate the tip's float in qgis_style.sty l.20,
I've made a correct run on fedora 14/texlive and can provide the pdf if
needed.

There is a problem with the index for the Tips, you click and always go
to the first page. As the tips are scattered, this index is very important.
Also, might it be possible joining them all in one single document?
