There is an improved clip directly in QgsClipper now, so the patched Qt > version is not necessary anymore. And yes, the clip is only used with new > symbology. >
I guess it was indeed just an old/new symbology issue. All I had to do was delete that layer and load it again, and everything was fine! QGIS is awesome. Thank you. Cheers, O
