Dear Jan,
there is an OSM plugin for QGIS. Be aware of the fixed proj-system of
the OSM maps. YOu have to download an .osm file first.
There is also a Python-Extension for adding Google layers.
(Extensions->Load Python Extensions")
Or use the OpenLayers plugin (python plugin as well), so you can load
the osm/google/bing services directly.
