Hi again, Thanks for your response Giovanni. I understood what the three polygons that were created means. However, the problem is in the repetitive names of the same district and its values in the 1_polygon shapefile. PFA an example excel sheet. There must have been some problems in the initial shapefile itself. However, if someone has come across the same problem and can suggest some ways of correcting this, it will be very helpful.
