This may be a rather round-about way of doing it, but I am not familiar with the various database functions available in QGIS. However, I tend to upload large address lists to geocommons.com, perform my geocode operation there, then import that file into QGIS accordingly.
My work associates have also used the following, rather simplistic geocoder: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/ That said, there may be an easier, more internal method of doing the operation described. -- all the best, Lee On Wed, Feb 8, 2012 at 11:26 AM, Wilson Pedro Tamega Junior < [email protected]> wrote: > Dear Membres of QGis-user mailling list, > > I have already imported this direct-mail list I mentioned to a > PostgreSql Data Base, but, I'd like to plot these addresses on a map (I > have the Shape Files) and therefore geocoding the entire direct-mail.
