So no commit number or message to search for? That makes it a bit hard
to identify ..
And if there is a bug that is still not solved in master - there is
nothing to backport..

until 1.7.3 (included) there are a few bugs that make not possible to
work with the GRASS plugin. Those bugs were solved from 11/09/11 on,
some were fixed upstream, others by Radim, Jurgen, Giuseppe. You can
check in Redmine.
Actually in master a new blocking bug has surfaced that still need to be
solved
