I'm using Win 7 64 bit QGIS vsn 1.7.3. I am able to create my own polygon
layer
on top of Tiger Files for Los Angeles County and create spatial indices for
both
layers. However, when I downloaded the Orange County, CA tiger files, created
a
layer .. I am unable to successfully create an index and get the infamous
message "Creation of spatial index failed".
Not sure where I can go to get any more detail information other than the
message. Does anyone have some tips?
