Maybe not a direct answer to your question, but did you check out this page: http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/TIN?
Also, there is a GRASS add-on r.refine that, and I quote, "reduces a DEM to a TIN (takes as input a grid DEM and an error margin and simplifies it to the desired accuracy into a TIN) ". I never used it myself, but you can check it out on the GRASS wiki add-on page ( http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/GRASS_AddOns) Cheers, Paulo On Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 2:42 PM, TheGeographer <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi, > > is there a chance to access QGIS via shellscript to automate GIS > operations? > With GRASS i can do it, but i need an automated TIN generation and under > GRASS there's actually no module available which can create TINs. > > Greetings > > -- > View this message in context: > http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/QGIS-access-via-shellscript-tp4621383p4621383.html > Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > _______________________________________________ > Qgis-user mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user >
