I guess I'm getting old and slow comprehending, but I still can't make these labels work. I created 2 additional fields in the shape file as xcoord and ycoord, and I used all the placement options and used xcoord and ycoord in the data defined settings, still I can't move an individual label where I want it. The move label does not turn black neither does the rotate label. What am I still missing. Thanks for your time Jake
