I would like to write a plugin which retrieves data using web services. It would appear I need to use SOAP to send and receive requests. How would I go about setting up soap? I have OSGeo4W installed on Windows 7 64 bit.
Could anyone advise me on what the best method to go about this would be? I am using OSGEO4W but I cannot find a SOAP library in the package listing. I have found the Suds library which looks promising. How would I go about making sure this would be usable in a plugin in QGIS on all platforms - is there a way to include the suds library with my plugin?
