Dear all, I have installed (after some difficulties) the source files of Taudem to work on my mac OS X 10.8 machine but am having an unusual issue. Every time I use a function that generates a new raster, it will generate a tiff file that is unreadable with an error message that says " xxx.tif file is not a supported raster data source. TIFFReadDirectory:Failed to read directory at offset yyyyyyyyy" . Oddly, if a rerun the same function without changing anything, it will ask me whether I want to replace the files (yes), it willre create them but this time they will be perfectly readable! This is rather annoying...! Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
