Settings > Customization It should be obvious, you can hide various parts of GUI. The only tricky thing is use of the interactive select tool - once you switch into select mode, you can only set on/off various parts of a customized dialog, but cannot anymore change tabs etc., you need to switch back to normal mode (and you cannot even switch the tool off by click on toolbutton), you have to use CTRL-M to switch between select and normal mode.
