Hi It's pretty simple - if you just know it....
To define how Myfile.csv is read make a Myfile.csvt file (I guess the extra t means Template) and put it in the same folder as the csv file. It is a simple one line text file with one entry for every column in your csv file telling Qgis how to read it: "Integer(6)","Real(5.5)","String(22)" ..... You can leave out the numbers and () if you like. ----- Regards Morten Qgis 1.8.0 Stand alone installer in Win7 64 bit -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/shp-join-csv-real2string-problem-tp5021602p5021655.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
