Hi Andreas,
I'm testing the latest qgis-web-client github download (20-09-2013) and
hoverPopup doesn't work in my project.
Here the url with a sample (a linode server. Sometimes I get trouble
with map start but in my latest test it work)
http://212.71.249.98/site/qgiswebclient-Inv.html?map=/var/www/projects/Inventario.qgs
It is a ubuntu 12.04 distribution (precise) and the qgis-mapserver
version is 2.0.1. The qgis project has been build with qgis 2.0.1
version (osgeo4w distribution) and qgis desktop, if map tips button is
active, show the default field (seem that propierties -> display work
correctly).
Another question: to show a image in hoverPopup, is "<img
src=/path/to/mi/image/image.jpg> </img>" the correct sintaxis to include
in a field or require different format?

Hi Antonio,
In newer webclient/server releases you also have to set up the display
field in the layer properties --> display tab.
There are plans to also support the HTML expressions, but up to now they
are not yet supported.
Let me know if it still does not work after you set the display field in
QGIS desktop.
Thanks,
Andreas

Hi all,
I try to personalize hoverPopup contents like this sample:
http://webgis.uster.ch/maps/stadtentwaesserung/wc_anlagen?format=image/jpeg&visibleLayers=WC-Anlagen,Gemeindegrenze,Pixelkarten%20und%20%C3%9Cbersichtsplan&searchtables=&startExtent=692000,241500,700100,249000&maxExtent=692000,241500,700100,249000
but I can't do it (In my tests only show name layer qgis 1.8 and name
layer and ).
Reading FeatureInfoDisplay.js file, comments say that hoverPopup can
display the field named "toolbox" but I have tested to create "toolbox"
field in my sample but in hoverPopup only layer name appear (contents in
toolbox field are missing).
In this same file, the showFeatureInfoHover function use 'tooltip'
attribute and I tested again with a field named "tooltip" in my data
sample but content not show.
Can somebody explain how to include data in hoverPopup?
