Problem solved - no virus By coincidence there has been an update of Avast Pro to V9.0. I uninstalled QGIS V2.01, updated Avast and then reinstalled QGIS V2.01 without any problem. Thanks to everyone who helped.

If you want to be safe I suggest reporting the possible false positive to Avast. You have a paid version they should provide support for you. Maybe once they verify it's safe it will get added to their data and no other user will have the issue either.
