I have GARMIN Map78s GPS and not able to work with 'GPS Tools'. I read that 'GPS tools' uses GPSBabel, and Manual of GPSBabel (page 47-48) says for Map78s and some other models that,
"The following Garmin GPS receivers are supported, but they do not support Garmin communication protocol and don't work with the garmin option. To use these receivers, read or write GPX files from the mass storage device as mounted on your computer." Problem may lies here or in our method/steps.
