Hi Jonathan, What a coincidence! I tried to access the Land Registry wms yesterday as well - and had no success. (I'm using version 2.0.1 - Dufour running in Windows XP Pro)
The wms connects OK and gives me a choice of two layers: Inspire:CP.CadastralParcel Inspire_common:DEFAULT Whichever layer I choose, the result is the same. The layer appears in the layer panel, but nothing displays on the map - even when zoomed in to, say 1:1,000. When I pan the map the status bar reports 'getting map via WMS' and then reports '3939 of 3939 bytes of map downloaded. The error message is: Map request error (Status: 200; Response: PNG ; Content-Type: ; URL:http://inspire.landregistry.gov.uk/inspire/ows?SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.3.0&REQUEST=GetMap&BBOX=-1.54320498923281058,56.16644864901333989,-0.93651227790715641,56.44164010340207227&CRS=CRS:84&WIDTH=668&HEIGHT=303&LAYERS=inspire:CP.CadastralParcel&STYLES=&FORMAT=image/png&DPI=96&MAP_RESOLUTION=96&FORMAT_OPTIONS=dpi:96&TRANSPARENT=TRUE) Cheers Graham -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/WMS-layer-not-working-in-QGIS-tp5093606p5093750.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
