Ok, then that might be just related to the 'Exp' flag handling in the osgeo4w installer. I verified that you also get the Exp dependencies, when you install Exp stuff, but just on a fresh install. I figure it doesn't extend to automatical upgrading of dependencies you already have installed. But I promoted the packages this morning anyway, because my point of using the 'Exp' flag was voided anyway, when the information posted to qgis-developer only was instantly widely spread.
