I think the intended way of asking for a new feature or reporting bugs is
through https://github.com/anitagraser/TimeManager/issues
for which you will have to register at github.
I see how such a feature would be useful.
I've created a feature request here:
https://github.com/anitagraser/TimeManager/issues/53 but I don't know yet
when I will get around to implement it.
