Hi Robert,

I have tried with QGIS 2.2 (under windows 7, 64 bit) and could not replicate
your problem.

Could you reproduce those 2 images with the settings below:

Under Position > Automated placement settings:

Search method: Chain (fast)
Number of candidates: set all to 8
Enable:
        Show partials labels
Show all labels and features for all layers
        Show candidates
        Show shadow rectangles

Cheers,
Saber

Subject: [Qgis-user] Diagrams Not Printing

All,

I've found a few older reports of this (Bug #4222, #4345, #4486) but can't
seem to get to the bottom of it.

Basically I'm trying to add scaled pie chart diagrams to a polygon layer,
see test images:

* http://i.imgur.com/7JPPY5S.png - screen grab from the composer
* http://i.imgur.com/NrZ48f3.png - resultant image export

I've tried the both size units of "mm" and "map units", exported as image,
SVG, PDF and printed as raster.

I've got the Automated Placement Settings set to include "Show partials
labels", "Show all labels and features for all layers" and also "Show
candidates".

The only way I've managed to get this to work is by converting the layer to
polygon centroids and using the diagrams on the point layer.

I'm on Windows 7 and QGIS version: 2.2.0-Valmiera, QGIS code revision:
c3a2817.

Any advice appreciated.

Many thanks,

Rob
