Hello,
I´m new with QGIS and I have a problem I can´t solve, I´ve read the QGIS
User Guide, when referring to working with vector data, but I couldn´t
find the answer...
I´ve created a new vector layer and digitalized a single polygon. Then I
made a Fill ring operation, obtaining two adjadents polygons.
The question is that now I want to made a Split Features operation and I
define the new polygon with normality but when executing the order, an
error message turns up, like this:
"The geometry is invalid. Pkease repair before trying to split."
If I open a new blank project and create two simple rectangles, when I
try to split, I get it right.
I'm quite muddled up. Does anyone know what I´m doing wrong?. And how to
solve it??.
I´m running QGIS on W8.
