Hi, My guess it is that it may have to do with the builtin on-the-fly feature simplification. Did you try to disable that? See "Options -> Rendering -> Enable feature simplification ...". Does the problem persist if this is set to disabled?
The Antialising should not affect the geometry, so I don't think it has to do with the setting "Make lines appear less jagged ..."
