Then the data is much more prettier ton handle in the database. Or if
the author is reading this, maybe there's an option to implement this
feature.

Try using the "import to postgis" algorithm from the processing toolbox.
That has lots of options, including the ability to convert field names
to lowercase.
Thanks for the tip i will give it a try.
I have to correct my use case. With a shapefile the DB-Manager works as
expected and converts the names to lower case.
But i had imported a geodatabase and then DB-Manager didn't convert the
names.
