This appears to be a issue since upgrading to QGIS 2.4. When making changes to records in feature tables that contain "Text Edit - multiline" fields, QGIS deletes the content in all fields that are set up as "Text Edit - multiline".
For example, changing the date in a table with two attributes that are represented as date and multiline text field respectively will result in the loss of data in the text field while the date entry remains intact. The behaviour can be reproduced under Windows and Linux by creating a new project file. The problem doesn't appear to occur when unchecking "multiline" under the Text Edit widget properties. Apologies if this has been discussed before but I haven't been able to find any relevant information when doing a search. Has anyone else come across this issue, and are there any suggested workarounds?
