--- Begin Message ---Hi We just built several "shape" files. Each one has different geometric primitives: point, polygon, line. These files have different traced record but all have five fields with the same names, necessary to establish the correct association between the tables of the data base. At the end each "shape" file, with geometric primitives different, collects N records that belong to M different classes. Using a separate algoritm (no graphics) are loaded K mdb files each one contains Y different classes which having Z records. What's the problems? we have to trasform the entities table from "no graphic" to "graphic". The procedure used has been the exploiting of the propriety "JOIN" but this method take much time and it's dangerous because to do mistakes is very easy. May be, the correct solution is to write down some row di Phyton. Too bad to do what is necessary to know the language Phyton rather than its API. Have you some idea by do it, for example, some plugins ready? Thanks a lots Best regards Achille Ghizzo
