Yes - it is the same issue. So the feature request already exists ...

    Hi Giacomo,

I am cc'ing the list again.

Now I understand what you want to do. No, it is not possible for
now. Can you open a feature request at http://hub.qgis.org/ ?

The "pseudo-layers" for categories in the legend tree are quite
new and haven't been fully polished for such cases.

I think it would be a very useful addition, being able to toggle
    all categories of a layer.

please look at the image attached.
I have the SHP file with many categories stylized; what can I do
to swicht on/off (put or remove the X) in one move?
    Thanks

        Hi Giacomo,

Can you be more precise on what you want to achieve?

With your current description I have no idea.

Are you talking about symbology? If yes - what renderer are
you talking about? Simple, Categorized, Graduated, rule based?

Or are you talking about the classes in the legend tree in
        the "Layers" panel?

        Hi all,
is it possible to make visible of invisible all the values
stylized of a shapefile in one move?
I have a SHP file with a lot of values and I'm not able to
        swicht on/off all together them.
        Thanks
        Giacomo
