Hi, You have to update the column Name with the data from OGR_Point_ID Look at page 7 at this link http://ku-gis.dk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/GPX.pdf
And for future questions at a list like QGIS user - try to read this blog by Eric Steven Raymond http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#before Regards Lene Fischer Associate Professor Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management University of Copenhagen MOB +45 40115084 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [cid:[email protected]] Fra: Michael.Dodd [mailto:[email protected]] Sendt: 6. juni 2015 00:59 Til: Lene Fischer; '[email protected]' Emne: RE: save as .gpx? Here is a .gpx file produced by qgis. It is a very simple file of points, each point having a single identifier and nothing else i.e. the simplest gpx file you could produce. However it does not show the identifiers in OSMand or indeed Google earth. I do not know what particular attribute structure OSMand and Google earth want but I assumed gpx files were standard but it seems that the ones produced by qgis can't be read properly by these other programs. ________________________________ From: Lene Fischer [[email protected]] Sent: Friday, June 05, 2015 10:54 PM To: Michael.Dodd; '[email protected]' Subject: SV: save as .gpx? Hi ?? If you have problems like this - it is essential to describe the problem in details. EG: How does your attribute structure look like for GPX from QGIS and OSMand. - Otherwise no one can help. Has anyone got the .gpx files that qgis produces to work in apps such as OSMAND? .gpx files produced by other programs seem to work ok with OSMAND but those from qgis just show up as dots and it is not possible to label the points even though the point labels are present in the .gpx file. It appears to be a formatting issue with the .gpx files from qgis, I raised it a year or two ago but the problem still seems to be present. It is very annoying when trying to produce maps for people who need to go into the field to specific points, they don't know which point to aim for as they just see a screen of dots with no indication which is which. -- The Open University is incorporated by Royal Charter (RC 000391), an exempt charity in England & Wales and a charity registered in Scotland (SC 038302).
