I am wanting to take GPS traces / osm way and convert them to lines, and with postgis, arcs. (I have not used arcs in postgis yet so that is also part of my learning curve!)
Is anyone aware of any plug-in / other software that will undertake a 'best fit', 'least square' or 'whatever method' on osm ways to reduce the number of nodes in them?
