the command seems to lack :
* -co BIGTIFF=IF_NEEDED to create a file over 4Gb
* -wo OPTIMIZE_SIZE=TRUE to apply the compression scheme correctly

Hi  all,
clipping a large raster image (1.3Gb) I tried to use "-co
COMPRESS=DEFLATE -co PREDICTOR=2" but the output grew till getting an
error (ERROR 1: TIFFAppendToStrip:Maximum TIFF file size exceeded. Use
BIGTIFF=YES creation option. ERROR 1: WriteEncodedTile/Strip() failed.
) because it was trying to create a >4Gb file.

Am I the only one? Any idea?

Working with osgeo QGIS 2.10.1 64bit on Win7.

All the best,

Nic
