Hi Nathan -

Just did a quick test trying to edit a tab file. It works !!! This is huge. There is an unbelivable amount of tab files floating around in my local "duck pond" (i.e Denmark). And QGIS is now able to edit them :-).

On a slightly less happy note: QGIS 2.12 nightly crashes with a minidump every time I terminate the program (But not because of the tab editing - this part works)

Regards
Bo Victor Thomsen

Hey Jürgen,

Thanks very much. Interested to see if the TAB editing is supported now.

    Hi,

2.0.2 is now the default GDAL in OSGeo4W and the nightlies
    (qgis-ltr-dev,
qgis-rel-dev and qgis-dev) already picked it up.

With the next release the regular packages (2.14 and 2.8) will
    also be updated
    to use it.

Please test and report any issues.

    Jürgen
