I had someone decide to start the move to qgis (from arcgis) and linux
(from windows 7). They are going with Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial).
So Last night I was walking though the instructions for installing qgis.
This works:
deb http://qgis.org/debian xenial main
This now works:
ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable *
*this doesn't work: **
deb http://qgis.org/ubuntugis xenial main*
*
I checked the dists under the last repo and there is no xenial - which
means it won't work for anything but trusty. With the revival of
UbuntuGIS and the release of xenial is the last repository worth
"fixing" or building again.
