If you're wiling to try GRASS GIS, then the module r.slope.aspect can output E-W and N-S derivatives using the dx= and dy= output parameters. See: https://grass.osgeo.org/grass74/manuals/r.slope.aspect.html

I’m fairly new to QGIS and would like to compute spatial derivatives (d/dx, d/dy) of raster band data. Is there a tool, computational interface or plugin that does this already? Thanks, Lee _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user -- Micha Silver Ben Gurion Univ.
