Hi, Comprising the file will probably not change anything. Either the matrix hight and width is too big for the memory or your are running into a new problem. The calculator was modified. It can now handle very big rasters at a decent speed. (Bravo team!) you could use the saga calculator or the gdla_calc. Both your files will need to have the same extent, CRS and pixel posting for those algorithms to work. There is a algorithm in the raster menu that will help you match the files. Beware of the effects this will have on the data.
