Thanks Alexandre, good to hear it's not just me! Right okay, thanks for link, makes sense. So far the map tips are the only thing that I've noticed not working for me but it's possible other things are broken too and could be all related.

Hi Farhan, I confirm that Map tips are not working for me either while using qgis from conda installation. It is probably related to this long-standing issue: https://github.com/conda-forge/qgis-feedstock/issues/68 This affects many plugins, like DataPlotly and Resource Sharing, but also core functionality, like 3D views. For that reason, conda installation may be good to set up a reproducible PyQGIS environment or to run processing modules, but may not be enough for everyday usage using the GUI because of this limitations Best regards, Alexandre Neto On Fri, Sep 11, 2020 at 12:15 AM Rizwi, Farhan (O&A, Hobart) <[email protected]> wrote: Thanks Fernando. I vaguely recall that some time ago I installed a plugin that (for some unknown reason) changed the cursor shape. Anyway, try to start Qgis without starting the plugins (--noplugins I think). If this solves your problem and cursor changes back to what you think is normal, start activating the plugins one by one (or use a binary search). If the problem is not solved disabling the plugins, then it is far beyond my capacities. 😳😳 Slds. > Hi, > > I posted the following bug report but was immediately closed > as conda installations are not supported by QGIS.
