Hi Andrea,
I finally understood the mistake.
First you need to create the 'zona_fill2' field and then populate it with
the expression:
if ("zone" is empty,
attribute (get_feature_by_id (@layer, $ id -1),
'zona_fill2'), "area")
So the mistake I was making is using a virtual field (maybe it's a bug?)
