Could be an installation issue? But to be able to answer such questions, you have to give some more info: What operating system AND version of it are you using? How did you install it (which installers, or repositories)? Maybe you can also copy-paste the info from the about box (which shows all versions of all libraries etc). Hopefully that reveals something (to somebody)?
