Hi,
Not limited to geoPackage, and not only from polygon to line. Works for
(almost) all geometry types. And somehow mentioned at
https://docs.qgis.org/3.16/en/docs/user_manual/working_with_vector/editing_geometry_attributes.html#cutting-copying-and-pasting-features
