Hi, I'm looking for a way to extract building footprints from satellite images.
I already make scenery from the satellite images for my flight simulator using free software called AeroScenery.
I can also make buildings, trees, night lights from OSM data using free software called ScenProc. However there are many areas that do not have sufficient OSM data in some cases missing hundreds of buildings. In the past I have spent many weeks hand editing using JOSM to replace missing buildings.
Is there a way using QGIS with plugins to automate this process please?
