Hi Dongguk LeeThe projections appear to be the same based on their definition
parameters that you shared but with a new name.  I do not know the reason for
the update but I am sure someone will respond to your question.Kirk SchmidtSent

[email protected] Subject: [Qgis-user] [E3] Inquiry regarding the name
of the coordinate system, EPSG:5186 To Whom It May Concern, My name is Dongguk
Lee and I work for a GIS company, called Ethree, in South Korea. We have been
using QGIS since around 2020 and have been working on many GIS projects during
this time. However, we recently discovered that the data we have collected and
analyzed seems to be in a different coordinate system. Upon comparing the
projection details in the .prj files, we noticed that they are nearly identical
except of the name of the coordinate system, but we are unsure if there has
been a change in naming due to updates of the software. Could you please share
any information on this issue if you have?  Our specific question is whether
"KGD200_Central_Belt_2010" from a new version and
"Korea_2000_Korea_Central_Bult_2010" from an old version are different. We have
been using the EPSG:5186 system all the time. Please check the attached photo
showcasing the difference (the top one is new while the botton one is old) I
apologize for the length of this email and appreciate any assistance you can
provide. Best regards,Dongguk Lee
