Hi QGIS,
The user attempted to save the files using the ‘Save As’ option. The file saves
successfully, but when he tries to close the QGIS application, this message appears, and
if he proceeds, all data is lost. "This project includes one or more temporary
scratch layers. these layers are not saved to disk and their contents will be permanently
lost. Are you sure you want to proceed"
The user has to provide more info, like a screenshot of her/his save as dialog.
One thing that sometimes happens with (new) users is that they just give a name
in the save as dialog, and forget to add a path (by browsing to a directory)...
Can that be the reason there is now file?
After saving, is there any message about troubles? Maybe the data to save is
not in a format to be saved in the output format?
Last: I think if you have a memory layer, and do save as, the original layer stays a
'memory-layer' so the message is what it says: "there is a memory layer, next
time you open this project it could be gone...).
