Hi, Select the features you want. In the layers panel, right-click the layer and in the context menu select Export > Save Selected Features. A dialog appears which allows you to select the output format and other options.
Alternatively, you can also use the Extract by Expressing tool from the processing toolbox. https://docs.qgis.org/3.40/en/docs/user_manual/processing_algs/qgis/vectorselection.html#extract-by-expression Just select the "selected features only" option and use 1 ( which represent true) in the expression. The advantages of this approach is that, if you want, you can create the new layer as a temporary layer.
