Hi,

According to your answer that it opens on another computer but not on you 
laptop I strongly assume it's not a QGIS problem but rather a problem with your 
laptop.
I am not sure how I could help you with that other than suggesting that you use 
the computer where it opens.

Try reinstalling qgis, try it using with a new profile. That would be all I can 
suggest here.
