What would a raster enhancement tool do?
Well, provide tools for temporally modifying the image look up table,
like contrast stretch, so to adapt the grey/color scale in order to
see better/different. This is particularly useful when digitizing
satellite images. Example: an 8bit image has values 2 and 105 as min
and max respectively, with median around 35, a not unusual case of
satellite image that is awful to see. Solution: a tool that lets you
specify minimum and maximum values between which to interpolate
(linearly or not) to 0 - 255. That would make QGIS even better.
