Horst, I tried on OS X. Here are my observations and issues so far:
1) The installer does not work. I get a permissions error when trying to use the python installer. Manual installation works ok. 2) When I run the plugin in a project with available vectors, the drop- down menu for selecting a vector to geoprocess does not populate with anything. So I am unable to perform any geoprocessing because there are not vectors available to work on in the gui. Because of problem 2), I am unable to get very far in testing this. I will be around on the irc channel today and off-and-on this week if you want to try and work out some things online.
