Hey, I've been reading the thread about Qi4j on the Lift list, which you can find here: http://osdir.com/ml/web.lift/2008-01/msg00333.html
David is saying that Scala+Lift (SL) does what Qi4j does already, which sort of confuses me. If someone here knows SL and can help me understand how that pair does what we do, please help me out! Some of the specific things I'm wondering about: * Structure - how is application structure declared/enforced in SL? * Dependency injection - how service lookup (with visibility rules) done in SL? * Entities + UnitOfWork - does SL have support for Entity-stores, and what is the persistence model, especially with regard to UoW handling? Just as a start. If someone knows SL enough to answer this, that would be much appreciated.
