just a short update on the S3 store. I am now in direct contact with Adrian Cole, the writer of the jclouds s3 library and the s3 cache store of Infinispan, and I pinpointed a couple of problems. An asynchronous solution I wrote solved the performance problem and I hope it will be integrated to the Infinispan code base (in a couple of days).
