Ha! ... Well, maybe I'm not a typical CA resident. Rarely on the winning side of the voting booth. :-)
OK. Given I have no one to carpool with to Fullerton, and assuming I get this together, what do you think is the the best way to introduce folks to qi4j? Personally, I found it by way of DDD googling. I was happy to be introduced to DCI along the way. To me, the OOP == class-OP and DCI/COP/qi4j == OOP++ is a very interesting path. I don't find that people are very aware of DDD. Standing in front of a crowd and saying, "Our foundation of OOP is whack!", sounds like a great intro too! ... I'd only hope that I could do justice to the concepts. On the other hand, a direct demonstration of a solved problem may be more useful. Any thoughts are welcome.
