I have figured out what happened... And I am not sure I am comfortable
with the observation...

The .gitignore file contained

qi4/

among other things, which I THOUGHT meant the qi4j/ directory in the
project root, BUT it seems to mean "any qi4/ found", i.e. in this case
the src/test/java/org/qi4j/ directory...

But interestingly enough the src/main/java/org/qi4j/ directory was NOT
excluded. I have no clue why...

Dangerous!!!

Does anyone have a quick link to the exact definition of .gitignore ??
 Is it regexp or what?

Cheers
